The engine starts easily and runs smoothly, paired with a Hydra-matic automatic transmission that shifts seamlessly, the most current owner's friend, and avid Corvette specialist thinks it has a shift kit because of the quick and responsive shifting it delivers. Braking is confident thanks to newer rotors and rear brake lines, while newer Bilstein rear shocks sharpen the handling. The engine bay is clean and well-maintained, reflecting the car’s mechanical health.
Inside, the Saddle interior has well-preserved seats, excellent, newer carpeting, and clean door panels. The factory air conditioning delivers ice-cold comfort, and the vacuum-operated wiper and headlamp doors function as intended.
The clock keeps time, but the horn, dash lights, and trip odometer are non-functional. (The most current owner used a small battery-powered LED light to illuminate during evening drives.) A retro sound system and six rear speakers bring modern audio convenience to the driving experience.
