Stunning Preservation Car, Smoke/Sage, Original Interior

This Nice Classic Bentley has SOLD
1967 Bentley T1 for Sale

Rare, gorgeous 1967 Bentley T1 for sale at Left Coast Classics of Sonoma with just under 75k original miles (20k kilometers). Incredibly well preserved and looked after California car with just four owners over nearly five decades.

Originally sold to a bank president in Zurich Switzerland and was chauffeur driven for 7 years. Car then was purchased by a doctor in Los Angeles, California and he owned it until 1995. From 1995 until 2012 the notable Rolls Royce expert and author Sabu Advani (Also the Editor in Chief of The Flying Lady, the Rolls-Royce Owners' Club's award-winning magazine until 1998).

This gorgeous T1 multiple concours winner was amongst others, 1997 Recipient of "Most Improved Bentley" award. Includes documentation covering Mr. Advani's ownership period spanning 20 years and totaling in excess of $25,000 over the course of 19k kilometers (12k miles). Click here to download.

Rare and beautiful Smoke over Sage body has been preserved and touched up as needed. Chrome, glass, rubber and fitment all quite nice. Car presents well and looks stunning. The original and beautifully preserved green interior looks stunning with soft, gracefully aged Connolly Hyde and original Wilton Wool rugs.

Wood in good shape with patina's dash. All interior accessories in good working order. Cold, working air conditioning. The 6.23L V8 starts and runs smoothly and quietly. The shifting is excellent as intended along with braking and handling as well. This is a wonderful driving Bentley.

The Bentley, being technically an identical twin of the Rolls-Royce, seems to have been bought mostly by owners wishing a little more understatement. The outward appearance of a Bentley T is slightly more dynamic because the bonnet design is a few centimeters lower and the radiator shell shape with its rounded edges is smoother.

In addition, the badging on wheel covers, boot lid and gauges featured Bentley motifs rather than Rolls-Royce ones. 1,712 Bentley T1 Saloons were produced compared to 30,057 Silver Shadow (including Wraiths) making the understated Bentley T1 not only rare but highly collectible.
