This is a Nice Classic 1966 Ford Mustang for Sale

Cool little 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe for sale; a California car that has been preserved and kept pretty original over its life. It left the San Jose, California plant finished in Vintage Burgundy Metallic with a Black Crinkle and Rosette Vinyl Interior as you see it today. The DSO was Washington state though the vintage blue license plates are from the early 1970s and would have been installed at that time.

According to the receipts over $7500 has been spent on this Mustang over the last two years making it extremely mechanically sound and reliable and very nice to drive. While the original 200ci inline motor was rebuilt years ago, it runs beautifully.

Recent repairs and upgrades include a front disc brake conversion and an exhaustive rebuild of the front and rear suspension including new KYB shocks. It has a new valve cover gasket, headlamp, wiper blades and oil change, fuel sender, coil and plugs. In addition, it has a rebuilt carburetor and has been fitted with electronic ignition for added reliability.

The rebuilt engine has about 77k on it but appears to have been well maintained as it runs well with no smoke and plenty of power. The tires have plenty of tread and the car's handling is tight and responsive.

The car was repainted in its original Vintage Burgundy Metallic several years ago and has a nice shine to it. The body is super straight and rust-free with the exception of some surface anomalies at the lower left rear quarter that appear to be from trapped trunk moisture at some point.

This is barely noticeable and could wait to be addressed indefinitely if is to be used as a fair-weather car. All in all, it looks great. The chrome, trim and glass all present nicely making this a good driver-quality Mustang.

The interior is comfortable and complete. It has the desirable factory center console. Much of the interior appears to have been redone at some point though it appears that the headliner and visors are original. Overall it is very comfortable and tidy.

Overall this is a great entry-level reliable Mustang ready for a new home and many more adventures.
