Beautifully restored 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible for sale. Nicely equipped for comfort with ice-cold air conditioning, power windows, power brakes, power steering, a wood-grain steering wheel, and power antenna.

Purchased new in Texas with this restoration being completed by its previous owner in California before being purchased by its current owner in 2014. Finished in Rally Red with a black leather interior and is equipped with a 350 V8. Includes a cache of regular maintenance records from its current owner along with owners and service manuals.

The 350 V8 starts, idles, and runs smoothly with plenty of power and the Powerglide transmission shifting is spot-on. The four-wheel disc braking is phenomenal, rebuilt steering box, front-end bushings, and idler arm, alignment all make for superb handling.

The fuel charging, ignition and cooling systems were replaced, the Holly carburetor rebuilt, a new flex plate, and many miscellaneous items making this a reliable, great driving, reliable C2.

The exterior shows beautifully with excellent fit and finish, nice chrome, glass, and trim. It rides on knockoff wheel covers with Coker red-line tires. The top was replaced at the time of restoration and is in excellent condition. All lighting is working and the powered headlights move smoothly. The body shows no hits from collisions and overall looks very nice.

The interior was restored as well with leather seating with seat belts, door cards, panels, carpets, and a woodgrain steering wheel. The heater blows hot and the air conditioner is ice cold. All gauges and good working order including speedometer, RPM gauge fuel, battery, temperature and oil pressure, and clock along with working wipers.

The previous owner installed a stereo with speakers in the storage area. Cables provide a mini stereo or Apple iPhone connection. The mileage showing is 52,514 though the odometer stopped working in 2014. Miles added estimated to be around 5,000. The car looks great and is safe and fun to drive.
