Amazing 1958 Porsche 1600N Speedster for sale

This Porsche 356 Speedster, always a California car was acquired by its second owner, in its original, un-molested condition, and was the perfect, "time capsule" foundation for the most comprehensive and authentic restoration of any Porsche 356 in existence.

This meticulous two year restoration was performed by none other than Tim Goodrich generally considered the best 356 restorer.

Exhaustive care was taken to use only the original components and hardware. Every nut and bolt was documented and restored, not replaced, even the original tacks for the carpet are in place! Absolutely no expense was spared in the level of attention that was devoted to this jewel.

This was the last of a handful of Speedsters ever restored by Mr. Goodrich and according to experts the best and the most desirable of them. The others are owned by the Porsche family and displayed in the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart Germany.

Every show that has been entered has resulted in a first place finish, including the Porsche Parade, where it scored a 299.3 points out of a possible 300, and a First in Class and Best in Show at the 2009, Dana Point 356 Porsche Concours.
