1973 Toyota FJ55 Land Cruiser for Sale

The Toyota Land Cruiser FJ series have a dedicated cult following. That is because they are some of the toughest, hard working vehicles, built to handle the roughest terrain, and yet be very comfortable on road as well.

This FJ55 has less than 57,000 original miles on it, and features 4 wheel drive (both High and Low Range) with external locking hubs. To make this car more fun to drive, the original 3 speed transmission was replaced with a 4 speed. Power Steering was added along with an Air Conditioning system that runs R134a, to keep the insides cool.

Gary Kardum of Mudraks in Sonoma CA rebuilt this motor less than 8 thousand miles ago. Gary is widely recognized as an expert in the art of properly building and setting up a land cruiser. Other upgrades include: Headers; a Roof Rack by ARB (great looking, and tough as nails!); CB Radio; and a 12 volt DC to 120 Volt AC inverter.

The car is fun to drive and handles well on the road, as well as off the road. The car has had fresh paint less than a year ago. There are a few rust spots where the paint has blistered.

It is common on these cars but not structurally significant on this one. There is an inner window seal missing from the right front window, so it rattles a bit. The upholstery is in very good condition, and the tires are nearly new! This car has tons of room in it for hauling family and friends as well as all their stuff! If you like FJs' this is the one to buy!

Thank you for visiting!
