Rare 1967 Lehmann Peterson 2" Raised Roof Limousine for sale. Ordered to his exacting specifications from the factory by mining and precious metals magnate Charles Engelhard, Jr.

Of the 491 Lehmann Peterson Limousines built, only an estimated 5-6 Raised Roof cars were ever produced. As per the order sheet the car was ordered from Melrose Park Lincoln in Newark, New Jersey on March 6, 1967 with all of the standard amenities as well as Tinted Glass, Tilt Steering, Tape Player, Rear Air Conditioning, Directed Power Differential, Leather Upholstery, Electric Divider Window, Floor Foot Rests, front and Rear Reading Lights and an unusual Rear Seat Center Arm Rest Storage Compartment.

The car shows just over 90k original miles with much supporting documentation. Recently serviced by our Lincoln expert as well as John Cashman who just finished repairing a few small items such as door pods and several switches, this rare Lehmann Peterson Limousine is ready to enjoy.

It starts; runs and drives nicely with plenty of power, quiet engine, smooth shifting and excellent braking. The car presents well with shiny, nice paint and the interior looks nice and is quite comfortable.

The climate control systems and heater are functioning though the Air Conditioning does not currently blow cold. With a length of 21 feet and weighing in at about 6,128 pounds, not only is this one of the biggest cars ever made but the most expensive car sold in 1967.

This beautiful, unmolested Lehmann Peterson Limousine has been with it's current California owner 14 years and is ready for a new collector who will appreciate it's rarity and provenance as well as the uniqueness of owning only one of a handful Raised Roof LP's Limousines left in existence.
